Dedicated to and inspired by the wonderful fellows contributing to Cover Spy .

I currently live in Atlanta where books abound I am proud to say! And I love the idea of writing down what you see people reading, because "You Are What You Read".

URL Change *gasp!*

Do not be alarmed. I have changed my URL. Comes with a funny funny story. At least it's funny to me. I was not being such a successful spy at Caribou Coffee one afternoon--I had forgotten my glasses, which I obviously need for seeing across rooms in dim light. And I broke one of my own unwritten spy rules. I asked a gentleman what he was reading.

I'm not sure why this has to be a rule, but it does make the spying more meaningful. Anyway, I explained to him that I keep a blog and he should check it out because his book would be on there. Of course he asked me what the website was and I told him "Atlanta Reads@blogspot", which it most certainly was not. If anyone has been bothering to follow this blog, you may or may not remember that the URL was Beckymadeablog. Which is a silly URL anyway and does not have much to do with spying or reading or Atlanta. I slapped my forehead at the error I had made as I walked out of Caribou. Of course I smiled at the man and pretended I was totally competent as a blogger and professional and intriguing and confident, but I was sore ashamed at the idea that he might never find his book and description on the world wide web and think I was a big, creepy fraud.

So, I've changed my URL to "atlanta-reads" to avoid further mishaps. But, here's hoping I will always remember my spy gear (glasses) and never have to reveal my identity again.

Happy Reading!

???STILL SEARCHING FOR COVER   Guide de Conversation, ? (M, 50s, grey hair, glasses, mustache, blue baseball cap, blue polo, brown pants, brown shoes, brown and gold watch; 14th St Starbucks)

This one today was so hard to get and I'm realizing how AWFULLY nosy I am! I have always been like that. Maybe "nosy" is being impolite to myself. I've always been curious and interested. And I love observing without being observed. In 6th grade, I used to dive for crumpled up paper in the middle of the hallways so I could unfold it and maaaybe find a juicy note. I wouldn't show it to anyone. It wasn't for gossip. It was just me. In trying to decipher Guide de Conversation I had to put on my glasses, fake reading Dubliners, and pretend I had to stand up and walk around in order to better here a pretend voice mail. And I still haven't found the cover anywhere online to post! It's making me nuts!
